From California, Sarah Leslie lives on a farm in the mountains of Liguria, Italy with her husband and baby. Animals on the farm include goats, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, three cats and four dogs. In the warmer months they make goat cheese and tend a vegetable and flower garden.

Sarah’s fiction has been named a semi-finalist for the American Short(er) Fiction Prize. Her nonfiction has been shortlisted by DISQUIET International, has earned a DISQUIET International Notable Mention and been a finalist in december magazine’s Curt Johnson prose prize. Sarah is a former participant of Bread Loaf in Sicily and of the 2021 Tin House Workshop. Sarah Leslie’s writing has been published or is forthcoming in Barnstorm Journal, K’in Literary Journal and december magazine.
